Stephan Kaiser, Founder and President

Stephan Kaiser is the founder and President of the Sabrina Kaiser Foundation for Astrocytoma Research.

Since graduating from the Technical University of Darmstadt, he has worked in the field of IT security. His early professional positions include Daimler, T-Systems and Siemens. He is co-founder and managing director of BSK Consulting GmbH.
He is also co-founder of Nextron Systems GmbH which he significantly shaped as managing director from its founding in 2017 until March 2024. Nextron Systems is a software company that focuses on detecting and combating cyberattacks.

In December 2022, Stephan sold the majority of his Nextron shares to a private equity fund. The proceeds from this sale provided the foundation's founding capital.

Regarding the foundation's establishment, he states:
"After the selling of my Nextron shares it very soon became clear to me, that a portion of the proceeds should go to a charitable foundation. Thoughts about establishing a foundation to promote culture were already well advanced. Then my daughter was diagnosed with astrocytoma, and things took a different direction and momentum.
I hope that with this initiative and a bit of luck, I can help improving therapies and give hope and confidence to many astrocytoma patients.
