As part of the “Sabrina Kaiser Consortium for Astrocytoma Research” (SKCAR) a total sum of up to 1 Million Euro will be granted to 3-5 research projects focussing on improved therapies for IDH mutant astrocytomas (WHO 2-4).

Projects shall be located in the Heidelberg-Mannheim region, and a collaborative nature of projects is encouraged. Regular consortial meetings will take place, allowing room for exchange of ideas and methodologies.

Seed funding applications for 1 year and research proposal applications for 2-3 years are possible. Preclinical, translational and clinical projects are supported.
